Beckett won 20 games this year and he had the help tonight of some good fielding by Lowell, Crisp, and Ellsbury. So this was the most easily predicted win for the Sox of the series. Dice-K and Schilling have struggled some in the latter part of the season so the next couple of games may very well prove to be tougher for the Sox.

beckett pitched a gem though. i give him that
.. our offense was so pathetic today. and john lackey didn't even pitch THAT horrible
it was frustrating to watch. esp. with those commentators
