I have a 96 Pontiac Grand Am SE, and lately I've been noticing that whenever my car sits a while (overnight) the first couple stops I make there is a noise that sounds like something is in my trunk..but there's nothing in my trunk and this only happens the first couple time that I come to a stop. It's coming from the back right of my car..my brakes seems to work fine but I'm not sure what it could be. Any answers will be very much helpful, thank you

I forgot to mention that lately whenever I start my car up..my gas tank lid will pop open..I have a lever inside my car that I pull to open it..well now whenever my car starts up it pops by itself..could these two things be related?

Open up the trunk and look! If you have a question about your brakes, take it to a brake shop.

Your fuel door panel is controlled by gas door cable that run through the side of your car and is behind the interior trim and also behind truncks lining normally fasten on by plastic push pins, some times yuor cable can move around in there especially if one one of the tie-rap is broke to keep the cable in place also could auto open gas door panel.

it could be moisture forming rust on the rotors or something, why don't you take this one in and let someone check it out for you most shops will look one over and check it for you, then you,ll know for sure, without me being able to see or drive it this is a really hard one to answer, good luck with it.

It sounds like you need to take your car to ghost busters. Sounds like you have a tough one on your hands.
