Non-Alcoholic
At home no straws, Out ALWAYS straws - you never know how clean they actually get the glasses, the one time I drank without a straw at a restaurant I got a mouth full of blisters and a sore throat that lasted almost a week.
Alcoholic
Again, at home no straw
Out, for wine or beer, I brave it- it would just look too dorky, mixed drinks straw.

I prefer no straws but you just don't know about putting your lips on them cups. so I have to go with straws.

with.... I like not having my mouth on the edge of a glass that numerous other people have touched....
plus with an aluminum can, you don't know what has touched the top....
