I'm going to San Diego (on the megabus) from Los Angeles
I was wonder which would better to do
tour the midway aircraft carrier or ride the Old town sea bus?
(the midway is $15.00 and the bus (which is a tour of San Diego then it drives into the bay) is $30.00
which do you think is a better deal?

Do the Old Town tour. If you're walking around Harbor Drive you can see the outside of the Midway anyway and get up pretty close to it. There's really no need to go inside of the Midway unless you're interested in seeing what the inside of the carrier looks like. They have a simulator ride inside but that will cost you extra $ besides the admission fee.

It more of a matter of what you would be more interested in, rather than what is a better deal.

If Ships and Military History is more interesting to you then go for the Midway. Then if you have time you can head down the street and go to the San Diego Maritime Museum which has the "Star of India". If you want more of an overview of San Diego then go for the tour I believe that the one you are thinking about is called the "Seal".

I can share my experience... My husband took our family on the midway and we got to hear an old veteran share his stories and experiences on the ship. First hand stories and accounts in a huddle with the breeze in our hair on the deck. My teens were all into it and the history. It was great! All the answers are great! maybe concider silver stand beach. My uncle used to run it and they have all kinds of equipment for you to use. I don't think it cost.
