Majority rules - it's Green Day. I actually found that out about 2 weeks ago when I heard it on the radio at work. It sounded like a song from a the 60's or 70's so I was very shocked to hear that it wasn't that old. It's a cool song, though, and I like it.

green something. ah, green peace or green day, or whatever. "good riddance," it is called. i asked that question a year ago and have since found that a quick search mentioning anything about that song will get you the answer. it is the one song they did that everybody likes. maybe not popular with hip hoppers and rap enthusiasts. no song is as popular on such as broad basis and has continued to be loved. that alone is kinda interesting. why? i love it but once you ever hear it, it kinda sticks with you.
has become a classic that will last, it seems.
