I don't know anyone who's said that. I'm a Bush supporter and I do think the war was necessary, however I also think we should have found Bin Laden by now. I don't think people are traitors for not agreeing on the issue of the war. But If you think it was such a huge mistake to go to war then maybe you should spend some time with one of the thousands of families who lost someone in the Trade Centers. Try to remember 9/11 and how the terrorist that we are at war against, MURDERED thousands of innocent people. Then visit their memorial and then their families. After that, then see if your still against the war on terror.

Because if you don't support the war or the president then you must be a liberal, and all liberals are traitors.

I support Bush and I would not say a private citizen disagreeing with the war is a traitor, just ill-informed.
However, I and other conservsatives DO say, elected officials, Democrats mainly, senators and congressmen who make public speeches criticizing the war passionately in PUBLIC are traitors. They are undermining our efforts in a time of war, and emboldening our enemy so they fight harder thinking they can get us to give up, so more men die. It's no accident Bin Laden and others quote things right from Democrat speeches.
If you're a public official, keep the rhetoric toned down in public, save your criticism for private, for the sake of the soldiers.

Because traitors like Bush, Cheney, Rove, Limbaugh, O'Lielly, Hantasy, and Ann Horser's@$$ find projection to be a useful tool in their bag of dirty tricks.
And all these years later, Anthony is still brainwashed into believing that the Iraq scam has something to do with the non-existent "warrunterra." Jesus H. Christ, what kind of dimwit IQ does it take to be a conned-servative?
And oldetradingpost doesn't know the difference between an unelected smirking chimp and "the leader of YOUR country"!
Here's a clue, bugeyesreturns: there's only one reason we call conservatives fascists, but you wouldn't understand a concept like truth.

I think you are rephrasing. Could you post an example that puts this question in context?
The only time I've seen "Bush supporters" throw the traitor term around has been in retaliation to maliciousness.
When Republicans do it, they are challenging a Liberal's attack on the President, the troops or General Petraeus.
When Democrats do it, they are referring to the President, the troops or General Petraeus.

I've never said that personally (and I'm not a supporter anymore), but like your president or not he/she is the leader of YOUR country. They were put in that powerful seat by your neighbors, friends and fellow Americans. To publicly denounce the president weakens & divides the country. To let other countries know this makes it so much worse.......

Scare tactics. The supporters of this so called President try to equate lack of support for him is to dismiss the troops. Ain't so. To support the troops is to want them with an honorable commander in cheif who gets them out of harms way. If they can paint you as a traitor, they can take the heat off themselves and their own inadequacies.

That's a load of bull. Bush supporters do NOT say that. What I have heard some of them say (which I agree with) is you cannot support the troops and not the mission. I'm sick of moveon.org and mediamatters telling a bunch of lies about what we say, think and feel.
