I saw the "veterans response" to it on CNN.
While flying the flag of any other country above the American Flag is distasteful, if it is political speech, it is protected by our Constitution, and no other law in the land can change that.
The man who cut down the flags, and balled-up the American Flag and stole it from the people who owned it should be arrested for Vandalism and Theft. I thought his actions were disgusting and even more UnAmerican than the man who flew the flags in the first place.
Why didn't he ask if the owner knew what he was doing was incorrect and make an on-the-spot correction and educate at least one American about the proper way to fly the Amercian flag with the flag of another nation, especially a nation with whom we are allies and neighbors. I'm glad the business owner let that knife-wielding idiot just walk away, didn't try stop the thief.

That is so disrespectful! I'm an American living in a foreign country and I would NEVER dream of flying an American Flag above a Cayman flag. I have flown an American flag by itself, as well as Texas Flag, but not in the presence of the Cayman Islands flag.
It's just bad etiquette, and rude!

According to the US flag code {federal law updated in 1994}
NO OTHER FLAG or pennant, [regardless of "free speech BS} shall be flown above the flag of the US ...EXCEPT the pennant showing church services are being conducted aboard a United States Naval Vessel. Period.!!!!!
You libs don't like it ? Too friggin bad it's the LAW.

Give him a big fine.. if he persists.. then help he and his family to go live in the country that flag is from.. lets see if they let him fly it there. If he does not want to honour the country that has given him a living.. then he is a traitor.
