What the hell does "right-wing" have to do with anything?

I don't think anybody ever suggested that you couldn't have Capitalism under a dictatorship, or that it required a democratic government to make it work.
You should have paid more attention "40 years ago".

What China has today is not communism--by definition. A communist system is one without a market economy.

They are, as you say, simply retaining a rhetoric--a pretense-of communism, but have entirely abandoned the economic institutions. That rhetoric survives only as a means of jsutifying the continued dictatorship and abuse of human rights that keeps the ruling elite in power.

What they have done is refuted your right-wing excrement that tries to equate capitalism with democracy. I saw through that B.S. 40 years ago already.

DUH! I know the difference between political and economic systems, but very few knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing, snake-handling red-staters do or ever did, even back in the day when they were Okies or rednecks--or McCarthyite and HUAC witch-hunters.

And where were you 40 years ago? Yeah, it's easy for you to change the tune of that right-wing excrement that came from none other than Ronald Raygun, now that the evidence is overwhelming, and pretend it never happened.

How does that invisible hand of Adam Smith feel in your circle jerks?

Big j.o., I'm happy for you. :P

And 3 cheers for capitalism. Oink, oink, oink!
