1. percentage is per 100:
% = portion/total * 100
So for the given condition:
%= 18/25* 100
= 72%

2. volume for cube is (side)raised to power 3.so the volume of cube of unit dimensions will be 1*1*1= 1 cmcube

3. lets say x hundredths equals 1 tenth
i.e. 1/100* x= 1/10
=> 1/10* x= 1
=> x= 10
so 10 1 hundredths make 1tenth.

4. It will be better to convert feet into decimal system.
so 5 ft = 12*5*25.4= 1524cms
and 4 ft= 12*4*25.4= 1221.2 cms

so volume will be 1524* 1221.2* 1221.2
= 2272786066.56 cm cube

5. percent means per hundred.
so 0.47= 47/100
i.e. 47 per hundred or 47%

6. 24/8 is simply 3.
7. mean is sum of all the scores divided by number of scores
so mean will be:
(90+96+84+92+78)/5
=440/5=88

1inch= 25.4 cms
1 ft = 12 inches
