i notice that the cigarette lighter on my truck diren't work i check my fuse box and i found out that the fuse was bad i put in a new one and it work but now the fuse is bad again this would be the 3th time i change the fuse it keeps going bad the same fuse. it work the fist time i change them but it seems that when i drive the truck and check if it works it wont work i keep having the same problem pleasehelp me thank you

on the cover it say it should have a fuse 15 i tryed a 25 and i still have the same problem withe 15 and 25

You can safely increase the fuse amps by 1/2 more. So, for example if the fuse is 10 amps, put in a 15 amp fuse. If the fuse was 5 amps, put in a 7.5 amp fuse.

what exactly are you plugging into the unit. I own 25 buses and the fuse blows constantly on certain coaches. Generally it is what the drivers are plugging into them. You might need to examine that first.

Go to auto supply and buy new lighter insert. The part that gets hot and see if that is the problem.
