I had a miscarriage/D&C in July. I've been charting temps ever since...didn't ovulate or anything..went to see a doctor September...got diagnosed with PCOS (long overdue) he prescribed Metformin...I started taking it that same day...the very next day my temperature spiked!

We only had sex two days before ovulation...I didn't stay in bed afterwards, lay there, or anything....I didn't think I even had hopes of ovualting!

My period was due yesterday...no trace of it...I debated whether or not to waste my money using a HPT this morning...and decided to anyway since I still didn't have a period.

I took a First Response test and it was positive!! I'm still in shock. Very nervous as well since I lost my last one at 8 weeks. What do you think? Am I really pregnant??

It's almost impossible to get a false positve. I think you're pregnant, hon. Congrats!!

If you're temps spiked then you certainly ovulated. That is an excellent sign, along with drying up of cervical mucus.

Saying a prayer for a healthy pregnancy!

I would say Congrats, you're pregnant =) The chances of a false positive are highly unlikely & rare, so I would say that little light pink line is trying to tell you something! I tested on day 30 of my cycle & got a light pink line, waited another 2 days & there was no mistaking the fact that i was indeed pregnant:) Also, your symptoms sound a lot like mine. I was soooo tired all the time, my nipples were constantly sore ( not aching, but sore to the touch) & i kept getting weird twingy period-like cramps that would come and go throughout the day & only last 20 seconds at the most. I would say wait 2 more days if you're not convinced & test again. But honestly, tests don't lie:D CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :)

Take a deep breath... relax and retest in a few weeks. That way your body can recooperate from the stress you have been dealin with lately. Stress can through false positives. Retest in 3 weeks if positive do a blood test... if positive wait until after the first 3 months to make sure a miscarriage doesn't happen again... after that... welcome to being a mommy and all the hectic caous and joy that kids bring. Oh yea... buy stock in Tylenol lol you will need it. Good luck!

Yes I think you are pregnant! Maybe take a second one or get a blood test at the doctor's office tomorrow.
I didn't believe my tests when mine came back positive so I took 3! And then I called the doctor and got a blood test. I still didn't really believe I was pregnant until he started moving around...

Good luck!
I will wish for you and your potential little peanut!!

i think you are pregnant! its very rare for a test to be a false positive. also since you had sex 2 days before you ovulated the sperm can still live inside you for a couple days! so go ahead and make an appt. with a doc to confirm! :)

It sounds like it! It is very rare to get a false postive on home tests. I would take another first thing in the morning to be sure!

Congrats and good luck!

There is a very slim chance of having a false positive. I think you are probably pregnant. Best of luck this time around.

Congrats!!! I took 3 home tests because I was in denial (all my friends told me no such thing as false positive but I was so nervous I just kept buying home tests!)

Good Luck to you!!

go get a blood test from the Dr...
