Just curious....
What's the first impression you get when you hear the name Gabriel Charles???
LOL "...and she stands in front of the firing squad, as they take aim..."
Just so you know, my son's name is ultimately sticking - it's just that the phenomenon of first impressions with names is facsinating to me.
Cheers!

Gabrielle is the feminine version ... it's pronunced "Gab-ree-el".
Gabriel is the male version... it's pronounced "Gay-bree-el".

I don't hate you! LOL.. you're entitled to your opinion..... But, as I said, I've decided on Charles b/c it's my father's name, and he's the best man I know.. I'd like to give him the ultimate honor, as I see no other more appropriate way as his daughter to show how much I care for him! :-)

Classic distinguished name. Could be president - Gabe/Abe as in Abe Lincoln (Can you see flyers Gabe _____ for President already?) or author. Charles as in Charles Dickens or Charles Darwin. If he lives up to expectations he is going to be a bold, thoughtful person, doing the right thing even if the rest of the world disagrees with him at that time.

I like Gabriel Charles!
It's a good, solid, timeless name!
Gabriel is one of the most important Angels, and Charles means manly. It's a name that reflects faith and strength.
It's a great choice. Don't let anyone tell you any different!

I actually find it a lovely, classic choice. Gabriel is a great name -- not uncommon by any means, but not top ten either -- and the possible shortening Gabe gives him a nice nickname option as he ages, should he ever want one. Charles is also a classic, and I can't see/hear it without immediately thinking "Charley," which I ADORE, so all in all, I love it. ;)

I actually really like the name Gabriel for a boy. It makes me think of... shoot what is the movie? The one with Heath Ledger. The Patriot! Plus, as your son gets older he might want to go by Gabe. I think it's a cute nickname.
Great choice! I love it.

I really like it. If people confuse Gabriel for a girls' name, it's because they can't read -- the feminine version clearly ends in '-elle.' Gabriel Charles doesn't flow very well, but once you get used to it I'm sure it'll roll off the tongue very nicely.

Gabriel has been my boy name for the last nine years. I have two daughters and no son yet.
I prefer Gabriel Blake, but Gabriel Charles is nice, too.
Good luck and best wishes to you!
