Is there a way to fix the balance of the volume on my ipod?? cause my ipod is just like brand new and everytime i plug in sum head phones i could only hear from one side...

This happened when i bought my ipod classic a couple weeks ago.

This is a problem with your ipod. If this is a new ipod it is most probably bug 1.00.13

Its not that big of a deal. If you go to the genius bar at an Apple store and tell them that bug number they can fix it right on the spot. If you don't have access to an Apple store, just remove itunes from your computer and reboot the ipod. Reinstall itunes and you should be good to go. Let me know if the problem happens again.

Make sure you are using the proper headset.
The headset receptacle is very susceptible to trauma on the solder joint connections inside your ipod. Those solder joints break from vibration and shock causing the audio to to fail in one channel. Try to wiggle the connection to see if the missing channel works.
