I know, not a very intellectual question, but I'm just curious. Can Bush speak a second language? Maybe Spanish?

Additional question: can Iran's president speak English more fluently than Bush, or less?

In truth, I refuse to listen to either one speak. They are both full of it.

Well well, some of you are rude. Read the question. I NEVER implied that Iran's president spoke Arabic.

Not surprisingly, the Bush supporters are the rude ones. Jeesh people, relax.

For you others, thanks for the informative and witty remarks!! You guys gave me a good chuckle!

Iranians don't speak or understand Arabic.
We've all heard Bush speak a rare dialect of English, but as far as another language, In his book the former President of Mexico, admitted that bush's Spanish is "grade school level at best": Here:

Edit:
Have you noticed that if someone would clean Ahmadinejad up and put him in a blue suit, that he would look quite a bit like Bush. They both have that very "primate" look! lol ;o)

The American President's mind is too simple. My 3 year old nephew can speak better english.

As for the Iranian president, he is unquestionably a well educated and serious man. His english from what I have seen is alright, but needs improvement. However his arabic is quite good, almost better than that traditional arabs.

But intellectually I unquestionably think the American's are lucky they have such a well educated leader, can't say the same about the president of the US.

Probably no, I doubt the Iranian president is that fluent, either, since he's more Turkish/Persian than Arab. Guess you were right, not a very intellectual question. LOL. But the responses were great. And who would care whether either one is more fluent than the other?
Perhaps a better question would be - Can a Democrat speak the Truth ? THAT is a question to pander, er, I mean, ponder...

I do not know what other languages the President speaks. I would think that he does because in the age when he was growing up I believe a second language was required to get out of high school and into college.

It would be better to say "Even President Bush Speaks Poor English."

Iranians are not Arabs and don't speak Arabic except probably as a religious thing. In Afganistan they made the kids learn the Quran in Arabic and they didn't even know what they were saying. Bush does speak Spanish pretty well. Don't know if that is all he speaks.

There is no indication that Bush can speak Arabic.
He does speak rudimentary Spanish, probably 8th grade level or less.

I wish Bush spoke English as well as Ahmadinejad.
You are right, they are both full of it.
