If you have an anti-virus, make sure it's updated and run it. If you don't, many people here swear by AVG. It's free
I also suggest you download Ad-Aware SE and Spybot S&D (they’re free), install them, update them and run them. If any of them don't seem to be able to get rid of everything it reports finding, try running it again, this time in Safe Mode. Safe Mode often prevents the malware from running and protecting itself.
Also, turn off System Restore to evict any copies of bad stuff that might be lurking there.
To get into Safe Mode:
1. Log out and reboot your machine.
2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.
3. Select Safe Mode from the resulting menu.
4. The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different. You won't be able to see the Internet, for instance. Log in as Administrator. Administrator often has no password.
5. When you're finished, log out and reboot back into normal mode.
Update and run both regularly, along with a good anti-virus package.
Good luck.

Is the scam advertising trying to sell you, one (or more) of these useless products? If it is one of these, then it is likely an infection called Smitfraud that is causing the phony warnings. It is scam advertising trying to swindle you. And a link to a free removal tool is down at the bottom.

There are others. The "black-hats" are adding more rogue programs weekly.
If so, then you most likely have a serious Smitfraud infection and a free removal tool called SmitFraudFix with the removal procedure is here:

More infomation and another free removal tool called RogueFix can be found here:

Most "All-Purpose" malware apps such as AVG, Norton, Spybot etc unfortunatly can not remove or even detect this vile pest called Smitfraud.
Good luck.

First off, download some spyware detection programs, i reccomend Spy-bot Search and destory. and Ad-Aware (links on the source list) Next identity the problem ( any spyware that cant be deleted properly by the SnD) Next Look up the specific program on google search for how to get rid of (Whatever it is) ususaly more people than you are having this problem and have posted on how to make it go away.
If you find this difficult to do because of some kind of restriction
go to Run and type Control.EXE and that will take you to the control pannel. Then go to system restore and restore your computer to a week ago, that way it will delete anything installed in that amount of time. Just some ideas.. sorry there so un orginized
