it is a post-postmodernistic novel, meaning, the metaphors float, and it has to be decoded.

Better get it read by someone who is an expert at it. A prfessional editor or an experienced writer. What kind of people will you get to read it if you place it here on Yahoo! Answers? A hundred thousand people will copy your material and then the uniqueness of your metaphors will be all gone.. Hardly any publisher will accept to publish it then....

Best of Luck

If it comes with a shiny decoder ring and a bonus "High School Musical" soundtrack or something, I think it will be a bestseller.

My dear, have you worked hard on this novel? Then why do you want to risk throwing it away on a total stranger? There are only two people I trust with my manuscripts - my editor /writing partner and my son. Your best bet would be to find a local face to face writers group at a library or bookstore. After some time, develop some trust in someone then ask them if they would read. Asking a total stranger to read your work is professional suicide. Plagiarists abound, my friend. Pax - C

I am too busy to decode anything except IRS instructions.

Like, uh...the "DaVinci Code"?

How post-modern is your book anyways? I would be interested in taking a crack at it.

How many novels have you written? Picasso didn't paint abstractly until he mastered realism.

BTW, I think the fear of copying is unfounded. Sure, anyone can plagiarize your work. But they can plagiarize it after you publish it too.
