I have bought a new hose pipe which is on a wheel. I know how to connect the actual hose pipe but do i connect a piece of pipe from my tap into the back of the holder. Then do i connect the hose pipe that come with it to the holder as well. There`s loads of connection points. Ive only been used to tap and end of hose. Cant find any instructions on web site. If its any help its called aHOZELOCK COMPACT HOSE REEL

There should be a short piece of pipe that connects from the tap to the hose reel. Then there is another connection on the inside of the hose reel itself to which the long (100 feet) of hose pipe should connect.

I might understand confusion with some of the issue; but more with you stating MANY connection points.

The most obvious test would be to run a section of hose (Likely Double ended Female couplings) to a faucet/ Hose Bib, and turn on the water. You should know within seconds where the water emerges from the hose reel device. Then connect whatever length of hose you choose to that end; Likely MALE.

If there is more than one exit connection available; That is confusing; as normal water pressure is around 28 PSI. Separating that might be done with the interior plumbing INside the hose reel; but certainly will diminish effect.
