I understadn the first time around, it was a big fat cheat.

But the second time around, that got me. People complain and complain about him but when given the chance to kick him out, they didn't. And now we're stuck with this descision.

I know some of you don't like Kerry but honestly, he's the lesser of the two idiots.

I have never missed an election, I have always voted, as is my duty. I have NEVER voted for a Bush of any generation, so I beg to differ. I think Kerry could have been molded into somthing that would work far better than what we got!

Well, I didn't voe for Bush. But I think the reasoning of my mother--who did the second time--explains it for most who did.

She didn't want either Kerry or Bush--like you, she saw it as a choice between two idiots. But, she felt at the time that Bsuh was "the lesser idiot." Since then, as the magnitude of Bush's stupidity, corruption, and incompetance has escalated, she's reconsidered. In fact--she's planning to vote for Hillary. Or Obama. Or Edwarsds. Anyone except a Republican. Why? Because, like many Amricans, she realizes this is NOT about just Bush--its about retrieving our country from the control of an extremist right wing. I doubt she'll vote for a Republican for national office again until real Republicans take control of their party back from the extremists.

Well, it wasn't the people that voted Bush in. It was the Electoral Vote. No matter how many people vote for you, its the Electoral Vote that counts. In Florida, Kerry won the public vote, but lost the Electoral Vote... so he lost the election. Every state has X amount of Electoral Votes---based on Population. Every state has ONLY two Senators, regardless of population.... Kerry would have been a much better President... WHY, Bush was voted in...well that may always be the question: Was he really voted in? Maybe, maybe not. Money buys alot of things... just a thought..

Honestly I like bush in office. The only reason people hate him is cause of the war. When 9/11 happened everyone in the US wanted to go over there and kick their butts. So bush did what the US wanted and went over there. Apparently nobody realized that some people in our military would die. Once people started dying they were against the war. Look at the polls right after 9/11 about 90% of the people wanted to go into Iraq and take them out. The people in the US want things without paying the price. Do we want to stop bin ladin or do we want to save our men in the military? There is no way we can go in and take the man out without losing people. The men in the military know this. That's why they joined the army. They want to go and take him and the terrorist out. A lot of military men will be pissed if they get pulled out. Cause since 9/11 the number of men in the military increased 60%. They want to go in there and fight war, but the people in the US don't want them to. It's just one big messed up thing. When bush leaves and someone else becomes pres and takes the military out, we are screwed and I am moving out of the US. Cause when we leave the terrorists will probably come full attack on us. Everyone in the world is against us. Why wouldn't they attack us?

A big fat cheat????

Wow, amazing dialect for an intelligent debate.

I can complain about Bush's decisions BECAUSE I voted for him.

What annoys me is people who have never voted who complain about the government. In my opinion, if you don't vote, you give up your right to voice further opinion.
