For a couple of reasons
a) Convenience
b) I have found that many people are uneducated when it comes to politics. If they hear and see everyone blaming Bush for thing (many of which I believe are his fault) it is easy to start blaming the guy for everything. People are just trying to join into conversations they don't know about, and sound informed.
Next time you hear someone do this, call them out on it. Who doesn't like a good political debate? If they have no back up info, maybe you can teah them something.
Or maybe they're just talking about George Bush and George Bush Sr. and you were confused.

This was reported by the Russian press - Yes Russia -
It is a quote from a former Reagan official ......
There are many people who are blaming Bush and fearful of Bush's government Have you noticed more and more people refer to it as the Bush regime these days -
Now partisan politics aside and this man is a "Republican" but lets pretend he is not - When is the last time in your life time a former member of the government leveled such charges against the current one ?
I have heard the opposition call the government all sorts of things in the past - and I mean all sorts of things - So I thought -
I have never heard such a dire warning from a former high ranking politican in my life
I am not sure wether to believe this man or not - but I am sure that when men who once held the positions he did says stuff that he is -
One should at the very least listen and investigate it
WASHINGTON, July 20 (RIA Novosti) - A former Reagan official has issued a public warning that the Bush administration is preparing to orchestrate a staged terrorist attack in the United States, transform the country into a dictatorship and launch a war with Iran within a year.
Paul Craig Roberts, a former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, blasted Thursday a new Executive Order, released July 17, allowing the White House to seize the assets of anyone who interferes with its Iraq policies and giving the government expanded police powers to exercise control in the country. Roberts, who spoke on the Thom Hartmann radio program, said: "When Bush exercises this authority [under the new Executive Order], there's no check to it. So it really is a form of total, absolute, one-man rule."
"The American people don't really understand the danger that they face," Roberts said ..........

Because Bush isn't attempting to fix anything. All he's doing if sticking to a fail or faulty strategy on Iraq. Furthermore, he's basically refused to listen to the collective voices of the nation.
Do you remember when he stood in front of a huge banner reading "Mission Accomplished" and said we were at an end to major combat in Iraq on May 1, 2003. At that point only 138 US soldiers had lost their lives. Since he declared and end to major combat, and additional 3600 American soldiers have died. Yup! Mission Accomplished.
And lets not forget the way he's basically given every country in the world an "up yours" if they didn't want to go along with his plans. Or the fact he said Osoma Bin Laddin didn't matter. This whole war on terror was supposed to have been about 9/11, yet Bush said the mastermind of 9/11 didn't matter.
And let's not minimize the fact he comes off as a complete moron every time he opens his mouth.

Well, I'm still searching for ONE thing that he has improved upon in our society.
He HAS vetoed kids health insurance for the middle class and below, as well as government funded stem cell research.
He's let the oil and industry consortium's have their way with the environment.
His guys bungled Katrina horribly.
He squandered a high global opinion of America by attacking Iraq ... without a plan, nor a VALID reason.
He did cut taxes, which to some extent, may have helped some middle class people to go upper class. Yet, I believe his tax cuts have led directly to the brewing mortgage crisis, which may lead to a recession.
He abandoned the hunt for the architect of 9/11, and created a breeding and training ground for terrorists in Iraq.
He has diminished the rights of the citizens of this country by way of the Patriot Act and unlawful (under any other administration) wiretapping.
Granted, a Republican Congress allowed this to happen, so I fault them too. Yes, the Democrats now have the majority thanks to Bush, but not veto over-ride majority.
I think in the next election cycle the GOP is going to lose it all, big time, thanks to Bush.
So, you see, it's not just a few people. It's Republicans that have lost faith in Bush's "dictatorship" as well.
Wake up, smell the coffee.

My best friend was on flight 11.
There was no need to go into Iraq. Afganistan YES! Other dictators more dangorous then Saddam was.
He has caused so much instability in the Middle East and WORLD.
We could have had a position in Afganistan to monitor the Middle East but lies and deception led us into Iraq. I support our troops but not our tunnel vision President.
Ask yourself this question. Why has George W. had so many people resign from his administration?

I only blame Bush for the things he is responsible for!Bush was responsible for our national security to keep us safe from terrorism from the time he swore to it in his oath of office!
Keeping in mind the daily briefing on 8/6/2001 saying Bin Laden determined to strike inside US.
Consider this question. Why if the 20th hijacker,Moussaoui, was in FBI custody for weeks before 9/11 wasn't the plot foiled?

As of this time - There's not much to choose from.
