Greyhound "facilities" vary bus -by- bus. On short runs, even if the bus has restrooms, they will sometimes close them off (so they don't have to clean them) or post them "out of order". On long distance routes, they are almost without exception, open and operational.

Also, the long distance routes will incorporate "comfort stops" for food and restroom breaks into the trip.

It's best to check with Greyhound in advance, to be sure of the facilities on your particular journey.

Good Luck!

Most Greyhound buses do have a bathroom; I've never known a long-distance one not to have one. I usually don't use it, as the usually bus makes enough 15-30 minute stops at depots or mcdonalds type places. Its kinda cramped, and depending on the road it may shake around a lot, but its tolerable.

Yes, as far as I know they all have buses. Call the Greyhound Station in the city where you live, to make sure all buses have a rest room. If not, there are restrooms in the terminal, you can use before you board the bus.

I have never been in one. But many times with Amtrak. If you think your destination pass by Amtrak, I will suggest you to take it, instead of Greyhound.

It is much more comfortable. You'll get 2 seat for the price of 1. Usually there is no one sitting beside you. Or you can move to sit wherever.

It's a bit more from Greyhound, however I think it's worth the time and energy. Good luck.
