You can get any of the Statue of Liberty coins from coin shops. They are dated 1986 and comes in denomination of $5 struck in gold, $1 in silver and $.50 for the clad type. The $1 and $.50 coins are inexpensive, $13 and $5 respectively whether proof or unc while the gold is over $200.

The only coins available are the Statue of Liberty copper-nickel clad 1/2 dollar, a .900 fine dollar and a $5 gold coin. Most of the rest out there are tokens. France and a couple other countries did produce Statue of Liberty coins also. The U.S. coins can be bought from a local coin dealer or he can get them. They are also available at on line auctions, but I like to see what I am getting in person. The many medals out there can be found at on line auctions as well as medal dealers and antique shops. Antique shops have a tendency to want more than an item is actually worth when it comes to coins, medals and tokens. Hope this helps.

Sears had a limited edition coin that they attached to their 1986 Christmas catalogs. The coin was supposedly stated to have been made of certain percentage of "authentic" material from the restoration of the Statue of Liberty. I'm sure that an Ebay search would come up with some of these.
