I'm breast feeding my baby (3 months old) She is alergic to cow's milk so I can't drink any. I have tons of frozen breastmilk and i just wondered if i drnk it (put it in smoothies) will it affect my baby like cow's milk in my diet?

You could, but its a real waste of your precious milk. It would be much better for you to drink lactaid milk or soy milk. This milk is specifically formulate to be great for baby, though it would be nutritious for you it is way better for baby. Also like the other person said, all the antibodies are already things your body has in abundance.

Oh and drinking your own milk in large amounts really does seem gross. If you do it, I wouldn't tell people that you did.

No, it won't affect your baby the way cow milk will. Go for it.

Sure you can, it won't be of too much benefit for you as it has your antibodies *lol*.

But there is no reason not to consume human milk, particularly your own as you cannot catch a disease from your own milk. It does seem kind of counterproductive to burn calories to make milk for you to consume though.

You can drink your own milk but you can try so milk or lactose free milk.
