It is it a popped blood vessel it should fade away in a few weeks. They are usually caused by coughing really hard or sneezing. Sometimes it is caused by rubbing your eye when you stratch it. If it's not starting to fade within a week I would see a doctor.

Go to the doctor right away.
This is hazardous to your eye health.
Also, lay off the cigarettes and avoid second hand smoke because that also causes popped blood vessels in eyes.

Nothing to worry about. Sometimes they don't even hurt. Starts as a red splotch & can fill your whole eye. I went to the eye doctor first time I got one, she said nothing to worry about. A capillarie burst. The blood seeps through the white & take a week or two to be reabsorbed.

Probably not anything to worry about, but if it has never happened before you should see your health care provider.
Have your blood pressure and blood sugar checked. This is VERY IMPORTANT! Do it like tomorrow.
Take care...

It's a hemorrhage of some sort. Need to get it checked out to make sure it doesn't effect your vision.
