You have it exactly correct.

2 wins 0 losses

So far they would be undefeated and in 1st place

Yes, if a team is 2-0 it means that they have won two games and they haven't lost any games.

2-0 means that they've won 2 games and lost zero games

but if your team was 1-1 it means that they won 1 game but lost 1 game

You have good team if they are 2-0 but it is probably 10 game season so anything could happen but best of luck to your team.

2-0 = 2 wins, 0 losses = undefeated. First number always represents wins, second number always represents losses. If there's a third, it means number of games in which your team tied opponent.

Touchdown = 6 points
Point after TD = 1 point
2 point conversion after TD = self explanatory
Safety (sack QB in their end zone, tackle RB in their end zone) - 2 points
Field goal = 3 points

with one major correction. what you describe is a teams won-loss record. not any kind of score.

a score is like, you know, for an individual game...um hawks 28, jays 27. for example. hawks record would be 1 and 0, jays recored would be 0 and 1.
