Is there truly no substantial difference between a republican and democrat as to Foreign and Economic Policy?

Seems the dems want us in Iraq as much as the republifascists and they just use different reasons.....any one understanding the psychology of the Good Cop/Bad Cop game should be suspicious. I do not like conspiracy theories but they do seem to work hand in glove alot as in the dems seldom undo republican policies all that much when power "shifts"

WI the massive rebellion is anticipated and with the unPatriot Act tis much easier to nip such things in the bud....think about why the streets of Paris were rearranged and apply the analogy to Internet regulation and the use of child porn laws to regulate access and monitor use of ALL activity

I like that... good cop bad cop. Except I have a hard time believing that Dems are the good guys when they speared almost every war the US has been involved in since the end of the European War (seriously, what world war? No black or Asian was going to win... the 20th century kicked off with 2 more European Wars).
By the way, power in the US has "shifted" from one sector of the elite to another since the Era of Good Feelings. I mean, think about it, Oil just had its heyday. Do you think that simply because AIPAC and the oil men are being kicked out of office for their ineptitude (not for their crimes) that a representative of public opinion will be placed in their stead? Keep on dreaming.
The US is about to be raped by another sector of the elite. This time, a mean strain of corporate zionists will take on the imperial project to Iran. You can bet on it.

My hope is that such folly will enthuse the American people towards the only thing that can save the world from US nukes: a massive rebellion.

Republican suggestions - help US foreign places allies, undertaking the extra suitable capability persons protection rigidity and this type sidestep wars, ending wars on the main favorable for US words or perhaps prevailing super scale and intense priced confrontations without wars (Reagan had defeated Soviet Union with none combating). Democrat suggestions - betray allies, undertaking weak spot persons protection rigidity and this type invite assaults on US (FDR, LBJ, Clinton), lengthen super scale intense priced confrontations (Carter) and create many new long term mortal enemies for US (Carter, Obama).

The dems don't want us in Iraq.

They want us to lose in Iraq. Their strategy requires lots and lots of dead Americans.

Nothing would make them happier than to see a replay of the helicopter evacuation from the top of the US embassy. It is of great importance that we lose in Iraq.

If we do not it is possible that Democratic party will split between the Dean and Clinton factions.
