Try a online antivirus scanner and a online anti-adware/malware/spyware scanner in safe mode with network to clean up your computer BEFORE you download anything. This because the program you download can get infected.

Disable "System Restore" for Windows Me and XP, then restart your PC to clean your system restore points for viruses, spyware, adware etc.

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community/en-us/management/sysrestore_faq.mspx

Now restart in safe mode.
To get in safe mode Press "F8" upon boot up.
Select "Safe mode with Network".
Go to Start – Run - type iexplore http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html Enter(ok).
Do a full scan of all your drives. If something is found, delete it, reboot and do the same again in safe mode with network.
When that scan does not find anything you reboot again in safe mode with network.
Go to Start – Run – type iexplore http://www.ewido.net/en/ Enter(ok).
Do a full scan of all your drives. If something is found, delete it, reboot and do the same again in safe mode with network.

**NOTE**: Do NOT do anything else with your computer when scanning. This because you can start virus/adware/spyware/malware manually.

When no one of these scanners are showing anything you can reboot back to normal mode.
Turn on "System Restore".
---------------
Antivirus: BitDefender Online scanner - will scan and remove threats.
Anti adware/spyware: Ewido Online Scanner - will scan and remove threats.
---------------
**NOTE**: Only have one antivirus program and one firewall installed on your computer.
Anti-adware/malware/spyware are ok to have more off.

You need to get one antivirus program, one firewall, pop up blocker and some spyware/adware/malware removers if you don't have it.

Spyware : Software that is installed on a computer and takes information from it with out the consent or knowledge of the user. It is used to literally spy on people and collect information about them.

There is No Software to catch him, just look in the web browser's history.

Hi,
You should use "NoAdware". It's extremely effective. I don't have anymore problem with spyware, pop-up, Trojan or computer viruses. I came across this software in PC World Magazine. Featured as the top spyware/ Trojan remover. Now, you can download and try for FREE. Check it out here:

The correct and most secure way to protect your sensitive files is to password protect your ENTIRE Windows account, allowing no one else access to it. Just go to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Change an account. After you set-up a password then choose to make your folders private.

Now, if you must let anyone else use your PERSONAL computer (not recommended), you should set up a Guest Account for them with limited privledges. Go to Start > Control Panel > User accounts > pick an account to change > Guest. Not only will a Guest Account keeps your data safe from prying eyes, your computer will also be more secure as the limited privledge Guest account will not allow the inadvertant installation of any malware by others.

Good luck.

Spyware creeps onto your system from unfavorable websites such as porn sites and illegal downloads sites and then sits on your PC - monitoring what you do.

When the spyware finds information which it deems to be personal and beneficial to itself, it documents it and send it's findings off to it's creator. This means that any bank details & passwords, etc all get sent off without your knowledge. This means that you could be a direct target for hackers and fraudsters!

Here's where I found to delete all the spyware off my computer:
http://killmyspyware.com/the-fastest-way-to-detect-spyware.html

That site recommends you use XoftSpySE to delete your Spyware and Adware. Because I was intruiged, I bought and downloaded the software... and have NEVER looked back!

There's a pretty extensive review of XoftSpySE at:
http://killmyspyware.com/xoftspyse-review.html

You should stick to using those to get rid of your Spyware problems.

It's both sypware and spam that's invading your pc. Get and antispyware program and have it search for spyware. One free one is on the Yahoo search engine that you can download. It isn't the best but it works. If you get something like McAfee security center it will help keep your PC cleen it has a program that you can use to cleen the junk off.
