I hope no PETA members use Insulin, Pot, Cocaine, Heroin, or most any other drug known to man. They'd be violating their belief that animal testing is wrong.

The basic premise of your question is biased.How can you assume that people who care for a lower form of life ie animals, are indifferent to humans?On the contrary,it makes them better humans to have the sensibility to care for life in a broader sense.Yes,I am ready to concede the point that at times and in their ovezeal they appear to give an impression that to them Animal life is most important than any or even worst sufferings of humans.That I think is not intentional but just a fall out of their focused approach neglecting happenings around them.

i don't think they do, i think they support all forms of life, choosing to be a vegan or vegetarian is a simple task anyone can do if they believe that animals are tortured.
I hunt deer elk and all kinds of animals, but i do not buy meat from a slaughter house. I'm not a tree huger but the way these animals are treated is in humane and they are completely tortured from birth.
I am a firm believer in the circle of life, if a mountain lion eats me tomorrow. so be it. its part of life.
now if any of the poster above are pro-life, or bible thumpers, they are the ones who are total hypocrites

I think it is similar to the minorities that used to have to fight for their rights. First no one cared about them getting rights. Now it is highly arguably harder to be a majority.

They also don't approve of people having pets of any kind. They think all your dogs and cats etc. should be able to run free and fend for themselves.

I seriously think because animals are not: drug adicts, stealers, pedophilles, satan worshipers, liars, love cheaters, smokers, drunkers, racists, gamblers, haters, perverts, media believers and ridiculous !
