No, not if they are doing it for the fun of it. I know some of them enjoy the tricking part more and that sucks. But a lot of kids that age just want to go and have fun and get candy. My 13 year old stopped when he was 12 and I about went into shock, I was totally bummed out that he wasn't going with us last year. I am 37 and I still like dressing up when I take my kids out, its fun to pretend to be something or someone else even if its just for a couple of hours. My 13 year old is going to take his little sister this year, but I doubt if he will dress up.

Depends. If your actually like dressing up to be like a cowgirl or a dancer then yes. But if you're something funny with a group no. Last year I had a group of girls dress like guys and look like em. And they actually pulled it off. They were good. So if you be something funny then its worth trick or treating. Inless if you like to pass out candy then jsut stay at your porch. Also if you decide not to go trick or treating hide in you bushes and scare kids. Isn't that the point of trick or treating? Scaring?
Good luck!

Not at all!
I went trick or treating until I was about 16.. I also went with my siblings who are four and five years younger than me.
I didnt really dress up.. I would just wear a book bag, carry a large heavy book, where a sweatshirt and jeans and claim to be a college student.

Not at all, I'm 15 years old right now and I'm making sure my life is fun. If you enjoy candy or the simple tradition of trick-or-treating then go for it, don't let anyone stop you.

I don't know. I think you can be any age as longer as you take the time to dress up. I live in an area that gets 300-400 kids and it really dissapoints me when the bigger kids don't even dress up! If I'm going to take the time and money to buy all that candy at least dress up!

I think that by that time they are all about scaring the crap out of the little ones who are out to have a good time. Personally I think that they are way too old. They should consider taking the neighborhood kids out instead of dressing up.

Kinda. If you are old enough to buy your own candy, then I don't feel obligated to give it to you when you come to my door.
It's like the 14-15 year olds I see that go to the Easter Egg hunts. What's up with that?
It isn't their place anymore, let the little kids enjoy it.
