Regret getting married? You must be kidding me. My wife is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

I do not "regret" any of my four marriages!!!! WHY......My first wife was an old childhood friend but her parents ruined our marriage. I am still friends with her 42 years later. I am happy that she was MINE at one time. My second wife was the cleanest woman that I ever knew. We are still friends after 20 years of my being married to my third wife. My third wife was very beautiful at the time we met. Her mental health was ruined by physical trauma, and this plus her extra strong libido caused our separation. Our kids are the GREATEST!!!! She is still my friend. All of my first three wives were very helpful to me in the courtship of my CURRENT wife. They each wrote a NOTARIZED letter of recommendation for me to give to my current wife while we were still not yet married. I would regret it much more if I had missed the joy of being with ANY OF THEM!!!!! I DO NOT recommend that any one follow in my foot steps!

Marriage is an idea that came and went. Sure people still do it but that is because that think that is what they are supposed to do. We were not meant to be with one person the rest of our lives, that is a silly concept. I believe in "love" as an endorphin rush that fades...it always fades or changes.

Unfortunately, yes. You could never meet two completely different people. We just don't agree on much and there is little intimacy to make up the difference.

nope ..... my wife loves me enough to let me live my life to have fun too ..... you have to love yourself and your spouse and both be able to WORK together for a better life ..... nothing comes for FREE in life for most people ..... you work hard to get ahead in life .... marriage is the same way ..... but you have yto make sure you aren't getting hustled .... 75% of all marriages end in divorce ... and ultimately one spouse will leave through death ..... the best you can do is try to find people with similar desires in life and GIVE and TAKE if it outweighs the bad times it might work .... but then again it might not ...... but it's good for babies to grow up with a family structure ....
