BOOKWORM ... The Smart one .. and ...

You know what .. it PAID OFF for me .. earned my degrees (UGrad and Grad), worked hard and earned everything I have .. finished my careers, and now ... I'm an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree (who raised TWO disabled Children on MY OWN as a Long Term Single Parent, who walked away from a Short Disaster of a marriage to an abusive, violent sociopathic ex) ... and I can say this ... I can FINALLY Enjoy MY LIFE because ...

I have EARNED it!

The Mysterious Loner.
I didn't fit in, and I didn't care. There was no angst for me, because I have always known who I am. They all had different names for me - the nerd, the devil worshipper (not true in the slightest - but I do play Dungeons and Dragons), the professor, etc. It didn't matter to me, because the friends I did have were true. They were brave enough to peer thru the stories and meet the real me. They proved their worth with courage.

I'm the one that everyone seems to know, but like I don't know how they know me.... It's kinda creepin' me out. I guess some people could call me a teacher's pet because the teachers seem to like me. But then, they don't really give me that much special attention, so I guess I'm not that much of a teacher's pet. I'm like.... the crazy emo girl. =D
