I have an anger problem from what some people tell me. I never noticed it and people in my workplace haven't notice it either but some of my closer friends tell me that I have a lot of anger and that they are scared of me. I don't like that thought one bit because I don't feel like i am angery all the time. so What can i do to get rid of some anger? I have been to anger management when i was younger but I guess that didn't work..

when you were younger perhaps you didn't have the stake in life that you have now. I'd still consider anger management, it is a different course for adults, and if you are truly intent on managing your anger, it's a good place to start.

Step one: Define the problem. Your friends might be wrong.

Step two: If you do in fact have an anger problem, usually it is a matter of venting appropriately. I used to work with kids who have Tourettes Syndrom, and they would become so stressed because of their situation that they would often become violent...their stress is understandable, so we worked on venting their anger in safe, non destructive ways... Good luck.

Someone VERY close to me also has an anger problem...
First, I just want to say that this person [and YOU might be too] is very SWEET and very kind and thoughtful.. BUT he does get very ANGRY at certain times...
He found an Anger Support Group near his home... they are in all cities.. :)

Just go to "google" and put in the name of your town or city and the words "anger support group" -- and a support group in YOUR area should pop up! : )

My friend's support group meets once a week - and he says it has helped him A LOT! : )

Just the fact that you WANT to get help is HUGE -- : )
GOOD for you... and good luck!
