I really want to go to Ireland, Sweden, and safe countries. Keep in mind that the people traveling will be two adults, on 15-year-old, and a 12-year-old. Any ideas?

Ireland and Sweden are both beautiful....I have been to both countries. But my personal preference is for the Mediterranean countries....especially Greece and Italy. Your 15 year old has probably taken World History and your 12 year old will study it this year or next --- ancient Greece and Rome are part of that curriculum. It will be fantastic to see the ancient sites of Greece and Italy!!! But hey, that's just my personal opinion. :)

I would say it is practically safe to go anywhere in Europe.

If I were you, I would go to: Paris-France (but also rent a car a travel on the country side and down to the cities of Nice and Cannes), Barcelona-Spain, some islands of Greece, Prague-the Czech rebublic, Budapest-Hungary, Florence, Milan-Italy, Split-Croatia and Stockholm-Sweden (yay that's where I'm from :)

These were just some suggestions... There are plenty of different things/cities/countries to visit. I think the 15-year-old and 12-year-old will have a good and safe time practically anywhere you go. My family and I travelled a lot around Europe when I was that age.

The West Coast of Ireland is beautiful. Stay west of the Shannon River.

you think you can stay in an apartment in Paris then catch the train to Sweden for a few days then come back then catch another train to Italy for a few more days? Do you know where Europe is?

I liked Spain while I was there. I spent some time in Andalusia (southern spain) which was nice, but I'd probably try northern spain (madrid/barcelona) instead. It's more cosmopolitan. I've heard that Italy is nice, but I haven't been.
