I have a 96 Pontiac Grand Am SE, and lately I've been noticing that whenever my car sits a while (overnight) the first couple stops I make there is a noise that sounds like something is in my trunk..but there's nothing in my trunk and this only happens the first couple time that I come to a stop. It's coming from the back right of my car..my brakes seems to work fine but I'm not sure what it could be. Any answers will be very much helpful, thank you

Do you set the E-brake at night? It may be the brakes sticking to the drums. The first few times you use them they free up. I would take it to the shop asap. They may just need some cleaner sprayed in. The brake shoes could get stuck and the wheel may lock up.

Get this checked out quickly because it's not normal. I'm not sure what it could be because you say it's not lasting. Be careful and have it checked out!!
