Everytime bush scares the republicans with his 911 rant. or his Iraq rant. The republicans just toss money to bush like he is a wishing well.

What's bogus is the patriots that care about America are forced to pay not only for the death of american troops in Iraq, but also for Blackwater that the cons HAVE TO HAVE becuase in the con's wors the military isn't "good enough" to do the job.

This is in part why i left the republican party. The lies keep coming in. the disgrace for our brave troops, like my brother (KIA). and Yet the republicans keep pouring money into Bush's trust fund.

Syria, Iran, all on the horizon and it's just another form of extortion bush is puling on the republicans. what fools.

Unforunatly the rest of the country has to pay Bush's tab. And too bad congress isn't going to have that tax for Bush's war. The "war and spend" republicans at their finest.

Quit letting Bush scare the money out of your pockets. it's embarrasing to watch. The fool fools the fools i guess

Haven't you heard Republicans don't pay taxes. At least, that's what the left would like you to believe.

But the real question is "how do you stop him?"...Bush is flaunting democracy at every turn...how does one ignore or stop a dictator?...he knows he has lost the country and in all honesty the only way I see the man being stopped is by the courage of your elected government to follow what Jane Fonda is asking for..Impeachment...but young Americans dying is not as important as the legendary BJ to Americans that matter...short of that it will take the military or the unmentionable....as for Blackwater?....let's see...it is funded by the military and government, hired by the military, and the ranks are filled with retired military...it is a convenient way for the military personal to provide lucrative jobs for themselves in the military afterlife...as for Iran and Syria...wake up America, Bush still has one card to play, a law he passed, and that is he can remain President beyond his term if necessary and a war killing thousands of troops will be his ticket...just the "threat to the nation". he needs...I cannot see this man having a conscience about the deaths of the young so he can retain power.

AND, by the way, I am not around much because some fool who wants everyone to know I am not American is attacking me through Yahoo censors....SO, in keeping with his infantile perspective, I am NOT American, but I AM Canadian....and proud I have learned more about America than most Americans.

Yes it is very sensible and if more troops were available I would support sending more, and paying more but I am not willing to give a dime for nationalized health care. And I have no insurance. I support building roads but not another dime to fix the bridges why? How the funds and the priorities are allowcated. Fix the bridges begfore you get the cronies the paving contract, don't you find it Ironic that the minnesota bridge was being paved when it collapsed. The Enemy declared war on us. We were at war with Saddam since 1991 but then liberals never look at the bigger picture, just ther selfish wants, Screw the country screw the troops and always support the enemy but how dare you call liberals unpatriotic while Calling a Patriotic General a Traitor.

Actually, this is one thing that isn't Bush's fault.

The Republicans in Congress are scared--of the religious right that is their "base." If they don't follow Bush, these extremists threaten to take it out on the Senators and Congressmen when the election comes around.

And--so far, with few exceptions, the GOP members of Congress are not willing to stand up to them.

BTW--I know saying "the religious right" is a broad statement. But I'm simply taking them at their word--that they demand to be viewed as promoting an extremist set of "moral values" and defining themselves accordingly. That is how they wish to be known--so that's how it is.

Support your in state movement to amass a centralized vote to impeach George Bush. He is destroying America's credibility while getting his hand caught in the cookie jar of NSA abuses. Why just toss Alberto Gonzales. Come now, who is pulling the watergate surveillance scandal strings. This stinks and I think it is due time the x-men infiltrate the white house and bum rush the secret service.

Bush doesn't scare me into writing a check, it's the thought that Hillary could be president that does the job

It's becuase what he is saying is simply true. Iraq is a breeding ground for terrorists. Our military is there to prevent a 9/11 style attack again. We are fighting them there so they do not come over here. The war is costing money, but that is war. We will pay it off when the war is over.

As for Blackwater, don't listen to the 'liberal' media. These were American citizens defending themselves from a insurgant attack. The Blackwater employees are noble, patriotic, and doing what is right. Fighting for thier country and providing protection for those who are doing the same.

This sucks for everyone.
They must not actually want any $ for themselves, and find some reason to trust the President with additional funds that could be used for other things.

Can you put a price on "freedom" from terrorists. This is
one of the most important items right now in America. If
they are free to come bomb US again, nothing else matters.
Bush has it right.......we must fight terrorists and keep them
from "flying" into our borders and causing havic everywhere.
They want US (and Israel) blown off the world map. We should be willing to spend whatever it takes to keep this from
happening. The Democrats are not willing to protect US from
these murdering thugs and Bush is. Be thankful you are still
free and that our precious national parks, our tunnels, our
bridges, our churches, and our homes are still here.....take
a look at Iraq and what the terrorists can do to a country.
