the columns go on until Z and the rows go on to over 10000! How do I change it so that all I have on my spreadsheet are columns A-I and rows 1-13?
Thanks!

Are you concerned with viewing the extra areas, or the printing of the extra ares?

You don't. Whatever version of spreadsheet program you are using (clearly not Excel), shows the theortical limits of each row and column. Just enter you data in the columns and rows that you want. When it is time to print, you may need to specify the columns for printing. In Excel you define the print range when Excel makes a wrong guess about the area containing data.

Some spreadsheets reserve space for every empty cell between the upper leftmost cell and the lower rightmost cell. Excel is smart enough not to do that. However, if you are working with a version that does reserve space for empty columns, if you scroll to row 10000 column Z and enter the number 0, it is possible to exceed the memory limits of the program/computer.

Simple....

You have to highlight every thing you don't want and hide it.

First click on Column H to highlight it
Then select all of the remaining columns to the right by pressing CTRL + SHIFT +(right arrow) this should select all of the columns from H to the spreadsheet limits. Right click in the highlighted area and click Hide or click Format in the menu and go to columns and select hide

Now go to cell A14 click and drag across the remaining cells in row 14 to highlight these cells
Now press CTRL + SHIFT + down arrow key to highlight the remaining rows. To hide these cells you have to go to Format on the menu the select rows then hide.

Although you can see it all, the blank spaces do not print. If you have something in all those cells you can specify the cells by using (A1:I13)
