If a kid wore glasses when I was a kid he was called four eyes. I wore glasses and was called four eyes all the time. It was not done in meanness it was just a pet nickname. When I got to high school my nickname changed to Professor. All in good humor.

LOL! It refers to a person who wears glasses, and no, I was never called that as a kid. I didn't need glasses as a child. Unlike now. Oh sure...people call me 4-eyes all the time!

I have heard it - but I have never worn glasses, so it was never a problem for me. I am not sure if anyone I ever knew was actually called "four eyes".

No one ever really used it when I was a kid- or I didn't pay attention. Actually, around 3rd/ 4th grade, glasses were considered cool, and everyone wanted a pair! I remember wanting glasses SO bad, I told my mom I couldn't see and she took me to an eye doctor. I didn't need glasses so i got a pair of fake ones. They were actually very popular at my school, but now, since we're all older, no one makes a big deal out of it anymore.

Well, it means women go wild and have more fun in there 30's! I just turned 30 this year, and so far it is definitely true! Now I'm looking forward to my 'naughty 40's', bring em on!

When my sister just got glasses I called her that. She hated it. She knows I'm kidding now. Her name's Morgan, and now I call her Morgan Freeman,it bugs the crap out of her since he's an old guy.

I use to call my brother it all the time, but thing was I really wanted glasses and didn't need them so I was angry. now at 20 I finally have glasses and man are they a pain! I can't see the greatest without them, they get dirty, they're annoying!!!!
