Great question!
I think we need them the most when we are with the ones we care the most about. I've been in situations w/ my better half where we've been in an argument or even a discussion on something important to us and I wasn't able to say how I really felt about something.
But after reflecting, if I feel that not enough was said or wasn't said in the right way I will go back & make sure that my feelings are stated. Most the time this creates a good communication because she knows I cared enough to give it more thought & make sure she was aware of how I really felt.

Sometimes a situation comes up where I have trouble finding the right words to say but most of the time I am able to at least muddle through to help someone when they need it!!

They are all at the same place you'll be, but 10 minutes after the conversation is over.

locked deep within... trying to decide if they want to expose themselves...or they are on the tip of my tongue, or the top of my head.
