Wuthering Heights. I read in 7th grade though, but it was REALLY interesting. Plus the Old English Writing is hard to read so it would be ok I think.

there are millions of books out there. Depends on why you want the book - to write a report? If so, for what reason? To impress your teacher? To impress the selection committee of your chosen college/ university? To get bonus points towards your grades? If any or all of the above, in what subject?
I would suggest you go to Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble.com and go through their lists. Their software has waysof narrowing down the choices by subject, age level, etc.. That might help you.
If the choice is reading for pleasure: What's your favorite genre? Mystery, thriller, adventure, non-fiction, horror?
Again, go to an online bookstore and look at the choices.
Sorry I couldn't give you something more specific, but there's just too many to choose from!

To Kill a Mockingbird
The Kite Runner
Grapes of Wrath (great depiction of The Depression)
The Fountainhead or Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand (two of my favorites--soooo good) although if you do read these there are instances where the monologues become long and monotonous--may want to breeze through those--goes heavily into her philosophy)
