Hi welcometomyworld,
I am all but done with Christmas shopping just have a few more things to get. My kids know I usually do shopping right arfter Xmas every year so they make a list ahead of time then if they should forget or want something added they tell me in Novemeber doesnt mean they get it but sometimes I surprise the hell outta em. Have a good day! :0)
Additional Details: But next Xmas I going to wrap up $$'s & into presents & get creative with hard to open presents: nailing 2 boards together so they will have to figure out how to open them besides I not only have 4 kids(grown & gone) but 4 grandkids. That way they still get to open presents then figure out how to open em. And then they can get whatever their little hearts desire of course still do stockings for all of them.

I started early this year for the first time in my whole life. I've always been a last week before Christmas shopper but this year started in March and wow! it feels good to have a lot of it done already. No last minute rush, plenty of time to think and come up with great ideas, and even time to wait for good bargains & sales. Much easier on the pocketbook too!

I don't like the traditional "Christmas shopping trip".......
I shop for Christmas gifts all year long! If I see something for a good price that I think would make a good gift- I grab it and save it for Christmas!
Of coarse, this means that all of the "gifts" that I forget I bought (you know the ones--- the ones you put in that place that "you'll know right where to find them"....) just get to hibernate in a closet somewhere till I find them 5 years later! LOL.....

Halloween isn't even here yet and that i'm interior the temper for listening to carols, baking and adorning for Christmas. I, have self assurance it or no longer start up Christmas paying for top after Christmas. issues like leather-based products would be stored in a container in a closet for this 365 days. I hit all of the after Christmas sales and get great deals for the subsequent 365 days's presents. such as you, if I see something i understand somebody will like, i will purchase it now already. I regularly placed my tree up on Thanksgiving night and on the same time as all of us's going nuts paying for on black Friday, i'm having a tumbler of wine on the same time as wrapping my presents. Then, the Sat. after Thanksgiving, I start up my exterior adorning. multiple the greater suitable sales are no longer constantly on black Friday. i found that out.

Yes. We shop year round. My kids like to bring the tree out on November 1st and we start putting presents under the tree all that month. We start open/giving presents effective December 1st. Every day in December, we give one person a present each day and we get to have one present each day for the entire month. It doesnt' have to be something expensive. You can even make the presents. It's just a nice family tradition.

No, not actual shopping yet. But I am in the "compiling a list" mode. I try to get ideas for everyone before I actually go out to shop. I make my list out with the different ideas. That way, it makes shopping a lot easier, faster, and budget-friendly.
