I am very upset right now. I asked a question and it got deleted. I swear it wasn't chatting or anything. In fact, I have no idea why it got deleted and I am really p***** off at the person who reported me. It makes me mad that there are jerks on here that don't even read your questions but just report them. So my question is, should I hide my Q's and A's?

If it was just that one violation, I wouldn't bother but if you start getting a bunch in a row, then I would at least as a precaution. What question got deleted?

I'm very sorry to hear that! I really don't want you to hide you Q&A's, but if that would make you feel better, then go right ahead! I don't understand why anyone would report that question either! It was a perfectly innocent question! You gave a good explanation of why you asked it and you just wanted people to understand where you were coming from! I don't see anything wrong with that at all! If you got a violation for it, you should definitely appeal it!

the reason that widespread consumers have theirs hidden is with the help of harassment. unhappy as that's. The trolls conceal theirs so that's going to take longer for them to be busted. the comparable trolls who harass individuals who supply good suggestion and good solutions.

Sadly I have considered not allowing people to be my fans because of this. I keep mine private but it doesn't matter because all they have to do is add me as a contact to see what I am doing. I KNOW one of my fans is reporting me. I just wish I knew who. I am sorry to hear one of your questions was deleted. Take it lightly dear. It happens to all of us! <3

when you get right down to it, ANYTHING could be interpreted as 'chatting"! Other than avatar games, there's nothing really clear about "chatting".

Appeal your violations in a civil fashion, and if the trolls are getting to you, go the private Q and A route.

i don't care anymore...I stopped taking this place seriously a long time ago..

& you can't blame the people...yahoo sometimes "screens" the questions & i have had my stuff deleted before it even posts..

but if you want to feel safe then go ahead & do that..maybe see if the violations die down a little..

we arent allowed to have real opnions here. id say keep it private. take my advice. my first account was level 5 (im finally back up), somebody went through my questions and reported them randomly, causing about 10 violation notices and a big fat SUSPENSION. learn from my mistakes. TRUST NO ONE.

Does it really matter? It's not like you actually know anybody on here (right?) Do you have something to hide?

you absolutely shouldn't.
you know something, there are to many reasons to delete a question, not only to be reported by someone. i use to read your questions.

No, just let it all cool down and the troll will move on to another innocent victim. It happens to all of us eventually.
