Lenny, the physically stronger (but mentally weaker) character is arrested for robbing a 7-11 in Chicago. During the robbery, Lenny hurts a customer very badly with a milk carton. It turns out that the customer is his Uncle.

As a result, this incident sets the stage for later events.

How will Lenny act when confronted with a personal encounter from family members? At a family dinner, somebody asks Lenny to pass the milk and he gets very upset.

Also, how will George help Lenny get over his obsession with cats and milk?

Future interpersonal relationships are foreshadowed in the first chapter.

Good luck - give me the best answer and let me know how it turned out!

the correct title is "OF MICE AND MEN" and the author is John Steinbeck. That is as much help as I can give you. I read it some time ago but I should not be doing your homework on here. READ IT, or at least get the Cliff Notes or Monarch Notes chapter-by-chapter summary.

Haven't read it in a while, but I am pretty sure that they mention the fact that they had to run again. You should check sparknotes.
