because virgos aren't one-sided and do not think in terms of black and white. if they have negative things to say about other signs, they also have negative things to say about themselves. this isn't necessarily self-hate but the intelligence to realize that while we all are walking contradictions and make mistakes, we're no better than each other.

All signs have negative and positive connotations. Virgo is not a bad sign. I think you are just getting stuck on the bad characteristics and are forgetting what you read about the good stuff. Like I said all signs have bad and good characteristics. With the knowledge of this it is up to use to consciously make an effort to overcome the bad aspects. If you thinks Virgo's are bad, you should read about Leo's and Scorpios.

I've never heard of Virgo having negative connotations in the general population.
I will say this: The biggest player and first heartbreak that I ever had was a Virgo. He played me like Nintendo. (I'm a Libra). I have never felt so used and never had my mind messed with so hardcore than with him.
But I don't take it out on Virgos...I have a couple Virgo friends and don't dis the V.

They just can't handle how cool Virgos are so they try to bring them down. You have to be true to yourself. If you don't fit the description say ''I don't feel this is me'' I know who I am'' I won't except negativity''. Those sign descriptions are too generalized anyway. You need to look at all aspects of someones chart. I don't know if your a Virgo or not but this goes out to anyone who feels there sign has much negativity surrounding it. I say this as a Taurus. I don't Care how many people sat were boring. I know its not true and I don't let it get me down.

I am a virgo and I find the same issues that you are. I am very honest with people about how I feel about certain things and I let them know ( I only do this with people I am extremely close to). I don't say negative things to make them feel bad about themselves, I just know that everyone can do a better job at things ( I guess its part of the perfection side to me).

People are ignorant. Don't feel bad I'm a Taurus. So I'm suppose to be stubborn. To make matters worse I also hate my stone color for my sign. It's the green emerald.
