Watch my brother die from AIDS. I was powerless.

This happened in 1991, everyone treated him like garbage. How dare you? He is a human being! A dear and wonderful person! This handsome young man, my only sibling, went from a healthy strapping 6'1 195 lbs to a shriveled 120 pounds before my eyes, in months!

We lived through our father's tragic death from a heart attack when he was 45, now my brother at 30.

I miss him desperately and mourn his loss everyday. He was so much fun, full of life and hilarious to be around.

In many ways, I am still going through the hardest thing I ever had to do.

The hardest thing I ever had to do was to bury my teenage son who was killed being hit by a car. It was VERY difficult to "keep it together".
After 2 years, the pain is now starting to subside.

watch my mom die from cancer and sit with her body for 9 hours in our home because the funeral chapel was so backed up that day. It was the hardest thing for me and my family. The funeral was no better!
