all i need help is to find out what this mythological expression means in present-day and an explanation of its origin,it is "an Aegean Task" please help me i have to go to bed soon. :(

Are you sure you have a correct spelling in "Aegean Task." The Aegean is a geographical area." Now if the spelling is Aegaeon, it is the name of a giant.

The Trojan war can be thought of as an "Aegean Task."

It refers to the Augean Stables, one of the 12 labors of Hercules. The King had many horses in a stable which had never been cleaned. It was Hercules' job to clean those stables. He did so by redirecting a river through the stables, washing them clean (no, there was no EPA then).
It's current connotation is a task of such overwhelming detail or complexity, that it is considered impossible.

I believe it is referring to the Twelve Labours of Heracles., basically referring to an almost impossible job.
