How do I format a cd so it works on a mac?

I just burnt a cd with files on it and it works on my pc but when I put it in my macbook it said cd not read. Any suggestions?

burning software does that - most popular and best for mac is toast platinum - http://www.roxio.com - price abt $ 90

Try closing the CD after burning.
