sorry, i checked the spell check, i guess i spelled the word meaning, to prosper, correctly. lol

by the way, i am a freedom loving conservative. with freedom comes responsibilty. whoever doesn't feel this way doesn't understand the word freedom and the very concept this country was founded and made great. if you think this country is in better shape today than it was before the social issue took affect is insane. we are in debt up to our eyeballs. we are in a war because we can't mind our own business in the middle east.

We fought a long and bitter war because some states wanted to secede from the union. Those white crosses reach across the fields in our country and are heartbreaking to see. So many young lives ended in battle, and I feel that the least we can do is keep our country intact as a tribute to those who have fought and died for it.

A better way to go is to encourage all citizens to get out there and vote. Now, that is a left-wing wacko idea that should take root. Write to your Congressman or woman and tell them that an honest election is one of your primary concerns and that you will not elect or reelect any legislator who will not guarantee a paper trail for the purpose of recounting dubious votes.

It is disheartening to see our country divided, but it isn't the first time this has happened. Thing will eventually be sorted out and corrected and the majority will rule. This is the essence of our Democracy and it is vital that we protect this freedom.

I believe we are a long way from being communistic. We are in more danger of becoming a dictatorship. What is doubly disconcerting is the number of people who seem to approve this state of affairs. Some of this is because of a woeful lack of knowledge about what is going on. Some of it is because of the slow and insidious attack on liberal beliefs, composed of catchphrases and namecalling, that some people swallow as truth.

However, there is a majority of intelligent and informed people in this country who will lead the way. It's inevitable, and will be done without division.

Many socialistic initiatives in this country have made us the most successful country on the globe, socialist programs like taming rivers for shipping, building the road you live on, the sewers that carry the waste from your house, police, fire, military, avaition, call all these what you want, but socialism is taking wealth from all and providing services for all.......and we are not even in the same ballpark as one step from communism

I wouldn't mind if some of the redstates seceded. The bluestates support them.

First on my list would be Texas, the only good thing ever came from there was an empty Greyhound bus.

Better correct your spelling otherwise you will get ridicule instead of answers.
