Have you ever really considered Noah's ark? No, not the implausibility of the whole thing, animals from around the world, flooding the entire earth, etc., etc. (which is just pure poppycock in-and-of itself). But why would the supreme creator of the universe, the alpha/omega, the divine knower of EVERYTHING have to kill (most) all of his previous creation and start over? Did he screw it up the first time? Why couldn't the all-knowing head dude, just blink an eye and start over from scratch, in an instant - as if nothing ever happened before, erase all records of his previous work and "boink" here we are with universe II, the sequel (and no one the wiser about the first mistake). Really silly if you think about it. But from the perspective of goat farmers two thousand years ago, I can see how it makes sense. Oh yeah, one more thing - you know that there are two versions of the flood right? And god took 7 of the clean animals and two of the unclean. (did the flood kill fish too? Did Noah have to manage aquariums as well? humm...)
