or as unbiased as possible. looking for any good religion v. science books, and not really sure where to ask. (figured asking in the religious/spirituality section would be pointless!)

personal experience greatly appreciated!

p.s. although i completely agree wtih the points made by jonmcn49 and emucompboy, I am trying to find a book that gives both sides. (even if one side is obviously more logical than the other!)

my goal is to be able to hold my ground on most arguments made on this topic.

My first response was that such a book would be very difficult to write ... because it is almost impossible not to take a stand one way or the other *on the science*. Either you feel that the world's scientists are utterly, fundamentally, catastrophically WRONG about the science ... or the creationists are.

But I did some more research and found the following which you may find useful:

Books:
- Finding Darwin's God - by Kenneth Miller
- The Fascinated God - by Robert Zisner
- God After Darwin - by John Haught
- Evolution from Creation to New Creation: Conflict, Conversation and Convergence - by Marty Hewlett and Ted Peters
- Can you believe in God And Evolution? (A Guide for the Perplexed) - Ted Peters and Martinez Hewlett

There are books that write about the nonsensical attack on science that is creationism, but how would you find an unbiased book, as creationism has no side to present and evolution is supported by evidence overwhelming?

properly, at the beginning, evolutionists do not declare to, or could, clarify the commencing place of fabric; they're in basic terms curious appropriate to the biosphere. yet greater importantly, evolutionists are smart at concealing the shown fact that they don't understand the origins of existence the two. they have multiple hypotheses, none of that have been shown, and greater than a number of alternative that have been shown incorrect. between the govt examples of the fallacy of evolution come from their generic source -- the fossil checklist. If the evolutionist's theories have been the way existence began, then there could be in basic terms common existence-types or perhaps pseudo-existence-types interior the backside strata of the fossil checklist. inspite of the shown fact that, what's discovered is totally stepped forward and complicated existence-types there. there is no strata of a progression era! For the textile origins, you may tutor to physicists. yet even they are able to't particularly get their theories to describe the origins of count. the excellent they are able to do is regress the universe to interior of a fragment of a 2d of the originating massive bang. that's with the help of the fact the closer you get to the commencing place the less actual regulations are nevertheless intact. And in case you're taking that line of reasoning to its end, you will understand that the actual regulations could not have originated from the universe itself, yet have been utilized to it from some exterior rigidity. some physicists, who do not choose to assert a writer, will conceal this fact too.
