possible you burned out the fuel pump by running it dry. the pump is made to be submerged in the gas to help keep it cool. runnning on a low tank too many times or running out of gas shortens their life. just a possibility, hopefully its something else.

"No More Starter Fluid, OK?" :-) After it stopped, out of gas, did you still crank it? Sucked the garbage out of the bottom of the tank, New fuel filter. Air may be trapped in the injector system. With fuel in the tank, 1/4 Tank at least, battery charger connected, crank the engine, loosen the fuel lines at the injectors, one at a time, till fuel comes out, "Remove the Coil Wire so the Engine Won't Start" Tighten all lines and it should be fine.
Question; is this a Diesel? The injector system do Vapour-Lock sometime when they run out of fuel.
"Best to get it to a shop to get this done!"

Try turning the key on (but not start) and off a few times. That will prime the lines. Your fuel filter could of sucked in a bunch of junk that was resting at the bottom of the tank and so it now wont start.. Try using a pen and push in on the Fuel system schrader valve near the injectors. (it will spray so dont be in front of it) If ti sprays then the pump is working and fuel is being sent to the injectors
Unless you have a diesel you shouldn't have to worry about air in the fuel lines

A fuel pump is a pump, which must stay submerged in fuel. If you run it completely empty, it overheats and binds up. If you actually had made it to a gas station, and the fuel pump was hot, and filled your tank with cold gas, it would have killed the pump also. It is quite possible that you got down to the bottom of the tank and the pump attempted to pull debris in. This is highly unlikely because that car has two strainers to protect against that type of condition. I would say the pump is failed from overheating it.

When you let the car run out of gas its hard on the injectors. After you put gas in the car turn your key over but not all the way keep it there for about a min. this lets your gas go through your fuel pump to your injectors if you dont do this its really hard on your injectors and may cause it not to start

wait for an expert to tell u, like that dodge guy.
But i think that ur fuel pump might have sucked up somethin at the bottom of ur tank, causing it to get into ur fuel lines thus jamming up ur fuel injectors.
cady's are electronically sensitive however so it might be a sensor also.

Sounds like it could be dirt in the fuel line. You may have to have a mechnic clean the line for you.

You have air in the lines, tow it to a mechanic, and buy a Daewoo.
