Just saw the Leafs box score and our ti't on a nun (that's how useless he is) Nik Antropov gets a hooking call 8 seconds into the '07-'08 campaign. Really, who greelights this guy to play in the NHL?
Speaking of which, is this a new record to get a penalty? 8 seconds in....frak...

Megs, RTFP (Read The Frakking Paragraph). Where did I ever said that it shouldn't've been a penalty? I have no doubt that it was a penalty, even though I didn't see it.

Megs, this is what you had before you changed it: "Antropov and it WAS a penalty." Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounded like was sarcasm intended for someone who thought that the subject did not deserve said penalty. Because this is the internet, I could've misinterpreted that; I'm trying to quit smoking so I use Answers and people to relieve some frustration. If I have, tell me and I'll apologize.

Keith Magnuson started a season in the penalty box one year in the early 70s. Just as the puck was being dropped, he got into a fight (I can't reacll the opposing fighter - but Magnuson never won a fight anyway). Both players were in the box at 00:00 of the first period.
Oh, and Antropov sort of just redeemed himself with his 2nd point of the first period

I didn't say that you didn't say that it was a penalty I just wanted to underline the fact that he deserved it. At least I answered the question unlike most of the people who responded. And yes I do understand what a rhetorical question is, I just chose to take it literally not having much else to say (until now). Is that enough rhetoric for you?
